What you need to do
- Know the preparations required for a one day expedition in an uninhabited island, e.g. costs, correct clothing, footwear, first aid kit and food.
- Take part in two Cub Scout expeditions out of doors.
- Build and light a fire outdoors and use it to make a hot drink.
- Build a simple shelter.
Find your way along a route, using one of the following methods:
- Compass
- Maps
- Tracking signs
